Our overall experience was pleasant and we would consider Flamingo again. Walk next door to the Linq.nice restaurant and shop area that leads to High Roller Ferris wheel between Flamingo and Linq always something going on. Margaritaville at Flamingo area is always busy with a fun adult crowd of all ages. Time spent in line is time not spent playing slots, after all! You can't beat the Flamingo for location on the strip. Poor layout, too many workers doing the same tasks.easy things to fix that would improve customer service. Again, this is more about in efficient practices than poor service. Pool area is nice, but using it as a revenue stream is a poor choice. Pool rules are ridiculously unfriendly (no outside food or drink) and $17 for a small drink in a plastic cup is just absurd by any standard. Yikes! Go Pool was the only one open last week of October heard it was closing in November for the season. Same thing of the sample girl in the cosmetic store door. This would shave minutes off each transaction and would thrill those standing in line waiting to get the fun started! Beware of the timeshare vulture in the lobby.there all the time and so annoying. If paper coupons are the only option, then have them pre folded and stuffed in advance. But before she could hand us our key, she had to fold and stuff several 'deals' into our key folder. Woman who checked us in was very plesant. There were only about 4-5 people covering check in desk. Knowing that lines are an issue,there are steps that Flamingo could take to speed process. Turns out if you book a package deal you don't get a Flamingo confirmation code, which makes it impossible to check in on-line or using provided lobby kiosks. These were inconveniences not showstoppers.

Didn't complain to management as I wasn't there to stay in room. Closet light might have worked, but we couldn't find a switch anywhere. lighting was poor with one bedside lamp that didn't work and one desk lamp that with a broken switch. Had a Go Deluxe King non-smoking on the 19th floor. Unfortunately it is very busy, so I got the feeling that no one really cared if we were happy. The room was supposed to be an upgraded room, but it was nothing special. There are some common area that are beginning to look a little run down. I guess if you went with a family you would not be able to take your children to the pool.ĥ) The Flamingo: The property is beginning to show its age. There was music playing that was so loud that we could hear it from our room on the 28th floor.

I checked one of the menus at a steak house and I think that you would have trouble getting out for less than two hundred dollars.ģ) Time share people: You can't walk through the lobby or out to the strip without people trying to get you to go to a time share presentation. Now most of the places to eat are really expensive. $131 for things that we didn't care about.Ģ) Food: There used to be great deals on food. Our rooms were complimentary but they refused to waive the resort fee of $131.00 for four nights. After this trip we may not go back.ġ) Resort fees: My wife and I are both platinum card holders,Total reward visa card holders and I have a VIP access card.
